Trees in Churchyards
Special considerations apply to trees in churchyards. The Chancellor of the Diocese has issued Notes for Guidance concerning the planting, lopping and felling of trees. Where it is necessary to apply for a Faculty to authorise work involving trees, for example, a major tree planting scheme, a special form of Faculty Petition is available.
